Au sortir de la cérémonie très particulière de l'an dernier, la cérémonie des Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards retrouve un semblant de normalité pour cette année. Les organisateurs annoncent un palmarès dense, avec la foultitude de catégories habituelles. Dans le tas, pas mal de super-héros, et une bonne mise en avant des nouveautés de l'indé' récent, avec quelques évidences et pas énormément de surprises.
Eisner's Spirit
Quelques marronniers se promènent dans la liste, avec quelques titres de Jeff Lemire, une quantité solide d'Ed Brubaker, beaucoup de Gene Luen Yang, et, surtout, de nombreuses BDs déjà éditées ou prévues pour être éditées en France dans les catégories les plus en vue. Les filous de The Comics Blog, Michael Cavna et David Betancourt se sont une fois de plus glissés dans la sélection des meilleurs organes de presse consacrés au sujet des comics, ce qui nous fait plaisir, parce que les gens pourraient confondre sur un malentendu. Si c'est d'ailleurs votre cas : merci, mais on fait le métier, rien de plus.
